Busker Busker, a band of three members, and Jung Joonyoung, a solo artist who debuted recently, are holding a good will competition, aiming for the top ranking on several music charts in Korea.

The title song of Busker Busker’s new album, “At First, Love Is,” released on September 25, ranked at the top of six music charts on October 2: Melon, Mnet, Olleh Music, Naver Music, Daum Music, and Cyworld Music. On some music charts, such as Melon and Mnet, several other numbers in the band’s second album ranked in the top 10. This album contains Busker Busker’s unique band sound expressing an autumn atmosphere.

At the same time, Jang Joonyung’s new song, “It’s A Sickness,” released on October 1, ranked first on three real-time music charts, including Bucks, Monkeys 3, and Soribada. It ranked second on Olleh Music, third on Ment, and fourth on Mellon. “It’s A Sickness” is a rock ballad featuring drums and vintage guitar sound, making it different from other rock music. The song is about a man’s emotion after parting.

On the other hand, a duet by Sistar’s Soyou and Mad Clown, “You’re Too Good,” and the sound track of SBS’s drama series Master’s Sun, “Touch Love,” remain popular. Im Changjung’ new song “The Likes of Me,” released on September 24, also ranked high.
