A movie [‘The Pirates: Bandits who went outto sea’] held the second rank in “Box Office” on its opening days.

 

On the 7th, “the Korean FilmCommission”’s integrated computer network showed that [‘The Pirates: Banditswho went out to sea’](directed by “Suk Hoon Lee”) held the second rank in daily“Box Office” due to its 278,195 audiences. Total number of audiences includingthose who came to the preview is 308,195.

 

[‘The Pirates: Bandits who went out to sea’](a.k.a[‘The Pirates’]) is the movie that sets its background on the early part ofestablishing “Chosun” dynasty. During those times, an unprecedented event: a whaleswallowing the seal of state happened, and pirates and bandits rush to the seato find the lost seal of state. The movie shows a fight between the powers thatestablished the country. “Yae Jin Son” plays a role of the pirate boss: “Yeo-wol”,“Nam Gil Kim” plays a role of the bandit boss: “Sa Jung Jang”, and director “SukHoon Lee”, who filmed the movie [‘Dancing Queen’] held the megaphone.
