‘EXO’s ‘Chan-yul’ to debut as actor in director ‘Kang Jae-gyu’ movies

Popular idol group Exo’s Chan-yul is expected to make his debut in film soon.

It’s his first acting after debut and in the movie, Chan-yul is going to act as a boyfriend of ‘Ah-young’(Moon Ga-young), who is the daughter of ‘Jang-su.’ The movie will be based on the market that Jang-su himself is owning. It is called ‘Jang-su market.’

Chan-yul, who is currently gathering popularity by appearing in programs like SBS’s [The Law of the Jungle in Micronesia] and [Roommate], will now broaden his activity area by becoming an acting idol.

Meanwhile [Jang-su Market] is a heart warming movie that talks about the happenings after accident meeting of cold minded elderly ‘Sung-chil’(Park Geun-hyung) and ‘Geum-nim’(Yoon Yeo-jung). This movie will be the first family movie made by Director Kang Jae-gyu, who had led many hit movies such as [The Ginko Bed], [Shiri], and [The Brotherhood of War].
