TWS Tops Album Chart, Surpassing First-Day Sales of Previous Release

TWS has broken their previous first-week sales record on the first day of their new release.

According to Hanteo Chart, an album sales tracking site, TWS's (Shin Yoo, Do Hoon, Young Jae, Han Jin, Ji Hoon, Kyung Min) second mini-album 'SUMMER BEAT!' sold 308,325 copies (including both regular and Weverse versions) on its release day, securing the top spot on the daily album chart for June 24. This figure far surpasses the first-week sales of TWS's first mini-album 'Sparkling Blue,' which sold 260,881 copies. This solid growth trajectory confirms the group's expanding popularity since their debut last January, when they gained widespread recognition with 'First Meetings Don't Go As Planned.'

The new title track, 'If I'm S, Then Be My N,' has also gained traction on music charts. It steadily climbed the Melon 'Hot100' chart, reaching 17th place as of midnight. Other tracks from the album are also receiving widespread love on this chart.

Unlike real-time charts, the Melon 'Top100' chart reflects a combination of 24-hour and recent 1-hour usage, each weighted at 50%. TWS's new track entered the 'Top100' at 94th place and soared to 55th place by 9 AM the following morning. Considering that it's challenging for a new group's song to enter the rankings on the day of release, the future performance of this track is highly anticipated.
