"Ah, I miss you" — BTS's V celebrates the 1st anniversary of Layover with fan events from Chuncheon to New York.

As BTS member V's solo album Layover marks its first anniversary, fans from both Korea and abroad have been celebrating with various events. Released on September 8, 2023, Layover showcased V's unique musical style, solidifying his presence as a solo artist. To show their unwavering support, fans have organized a variety of celebratory activities.

V's global fanbase "BTS V UNION," along with Korean fanbase "VINSIDE" and U.S.-based "TaehyungWebsite," collectively organized a celebratory video display on an outdoor billboard in New York's Times Square, one of the most heavily trafficked areas in the world, on September 7 and 8. "VINSIDE" also announced that they would run a congratulatory digital ad at a taxi shelter near V's agency, HYBE, for an entire month. Additionally, they arranged banner support at four locations, including the front gate of the military unit where V is currently serving.

"Kim Taehyung Supporters Korea" also installed congratulatory banners at four locations, including near the military base and in front of the Chuncheon National Forest Management Office. Meanwhile, V's Chinese fanbase "Baidu V Bar" ran a video ad at Max Vision near Gangnam Station and celebrated both Layover's anniversary and the birthday of V's dog, Yeontan, on September 7 with a display at a taxi shelter near HYBE. They also donated 150kg of animal feed to an animal protection organization in Hangzhou, China, making the occasion even more meaningful.
