Jungkook, the first K-pop solo artist to achieve 1B streams of 2 Songs on Sportify
BTS's Jungkook has made history by becoming the first K-pop solo artist to achieve 1 billion streams on two songs on the world's largest music platform, Spotify.
The collaboration between Jungkook and American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth, "Left and Right," recently surpassed 1 billion streams (pre-filtered) on Spotify. Media outlets such as World Music Awards (WMA), Chart Data, Pop Base, and About Music, which provide real-time updates on global music charts, confirmed that Jungkook is the first K-pop solo artist in Spotify's history to have two songs surpass 1 billion streams ("Seven" and "Left and Right").
Jungkook is now the second K-pop artist, after his group BTS, to reach this milestone.
With two songs in Spotify's Billions Club playlist, which features tracks with over 1 billion streams, Jungkook has earned two commemorative plate-shaped plaques to mark this remarkable achievement.
