Kang Daniel Unveils 'Electric Shock' MV Preview: Director Praises "200% Immersion"

Kang Daniel has kicked off the final preparations for his comeback.

His agency, ARA, has released the teaser video for the music video of the title track "Electric Shock" from his new album ACT, signaling the countdown to its release. The music video was directed by WASABIMAYO, who shared, "It was not an easy process for anyone, but watching Daniel immerse himself 200% in his performance throughout the shoot made everyone enjoy the work." The director also added, "Working with an artist who has a deep understanding of acting makes it all the more engaging and fulfilling as a director," further raising expectations for the release.

Kang Daniel's fifth mini-album, ACT, is garnering attention for delivering its message through theatrical elements. The comeback trailer was labeled "Prologue," the lyric poster as "Spoiler," the highlight medley as "Plot," and the music video teaser as "Preview," cleverly blending music with theater to hint at a new beginning. 

Kang Daniel contributed to the lyrics of all six tracks, including the title track "Electric Shock," weaving his personal stories into each song. The album is filled with trendy and stylish music, ranging from modern pop to R&B and EDM. His performance is set to impress as he reunites with WeDemBoyz to deliver dynamic and high-quality choreography.

Kang Daniel's new album ACT, symbolizing a fresh chapter, will be unveiled on September 23 at 6 PM.
