TXT's Yeonjun clinched his first music show win with his solo track "GGUM" (Chewing Gum).

On October 3, Yeonjun secured 1st place on Mnet's M Countdown with "GGUM," his mixtape released on September 19, marking a significant achievement in his first solo activities. Despite not attending the broadcast, Yeonjun expressed his joy through his agency, BigHit Music, saying, "I was so happy to hear about the win as soon as I got off the plane. I approached this promotion with the mindset of enjoying it as a celebration with MOAs (TXT’s fandom), and I received even more love than expected. I’m thrilled and grateful to have won first place. Thank you, and I love you all. I'll be back with a great album as Yeonjun of TXT next time."

"GGUM" uses gum as a metaphor to express Yeonjun’s confidence and aspirations on stage. His performance highlights his skills as one of K-pop's top dancers, with powerful energy conveyed through his long limbs, sharp moves, and smooth dance lines.

"GGUM" also made a mark internationally, ranking 4th for two consecutive weeks on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart. As of the latest chart dated October 5, it is the only K-pop track in the top five. On the latest Circle Chart's weekly Global K-pop Chart (September 22-28), the song jumped 31 spots to rank 13th. On social platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, over 20,000 videos featuring the "GGUM" audio were uploaded in the past week, reaching nearly 60,000 by 8 PM on October 3.

Meanwhile, TXT (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Huening Kai) will conclude their third world tour, TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR 'ACT : PROMISE', in Taipei on October 5-6. They will also hold encore concerts in Seoul at KSPO Dome from November 1-3 and at Kyocera Dome Osaka, Japan, from November 30 to December 1.
