Jin set to release his first solo album Happy

BTS member Jin is set to release his first solo album, Happy, on November 15. This marks his official solo debut since the group’s formation.


On October 15 (KST), BigHit Music announced through Weverse and BTS’s official social media accounts that Jin’s solo album Happy will be released simultaneously worldwide at 2 PM on November 15. The album carries a message inviting listeners to join Jin on a journey in search of happiness. Through Happy, Jin aims to share his personal reflections on happiness and express his warm feelings toward ARMY, BTS's fandom.


The album will feature six tracks based on band sounds, spanning various genres. Jin, who has been praised for solo songs like "The Astronaut" (released in 2022), as well as personal tracks from BTS albums such as "Awake," "Epiphany," and "Moon," is expected to show further growth as a solo vocalist through this album.


On October 15 at midnight, Jin surprised fans with a teaser video for the new album on BTS's official social media. The video features vibrant colors and playful visuals, including popping balloons and geometric shapes, giving off a festive, party-like atmosphere. The teaser showcases the album’s title, Happy, and Jin's name in a creative, eye-catching way.


In addition to the album release, Jin has hinted at several upcoming activities, stirring excitement among fans. Recently, he was chosen as a torchbearer for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, proving his global influence. He also made appearances in variety shows like Run BTS and If You Rest, It's a Relief on MBC. Moreover, Jin has confirmed his participation in Netflix's upcoming show Daehwanjang's Chaos, slated for release next year, demonstrating his active engagement with the public.


Leading up to the release of Happy on November 15, Jin will gradually unveil a series of related content to further build anticipation.
