BLACKPINK members Jennie and Lisa are set to take the stage as solo artists at the upcoming Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, one of the largest music festivals in the United States.
According to the Coachella lineup announced on November 20 (local time), Jennie will perform on April 13 and 20, while Lisa is scheduled for April 11 and 18. Their individual appearances in the Coachella lineup have drawn significant attention, marking a new milestone in their solo careers.
Jennie and Lisa previously performed at Coachella as part of BLACKPINK. In 2019, the group made history as the first K-pop girl group to perform at the festival. In 2023, they became the first K-pop artists to headline Coachella, delivering unforgettable performances that showcased their exceptional live talent and stage presence.
Coachella, which began in 1999, is held annually over two weekends in Indio, California, attracting over 200,000 attendees and ranking as one of the most prominent music festivals in the U.S. The 2024 lineup features major global stars, including Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, Missy Elliott, Charli XCX, and Megan Thee Stallion.
In addition to Jennie and Lisa, K-pop boy group ENHYPEN and girl group XG are also set to perform, further highlighting the growing global influence of K-pop.
