Girl group aespa’s 2024 hit albums Armageddon and Whiplash will be released in LP format, delighting fans with a nostalgic twist.

aespa's first full-length album Armageddon and their fifth mini-album Whiplash are set to be released in LP format on February 24, 2025. On December 10, the group's official social media channels unveiled teaser content for the LP versions of both albums. In addition, a redesigned video featuring the WHIPMIXER—a tool that previously allowed fans to mix and download parts of Whiplash—as a functional LP player was also released, garnering excitement.

aespa's first full-length album, Armageddon, released in May, included the massive hits Supernova and Armageddon, solidifying its status as one of the year’s top albums. Following this, aespa made waves again in October with Whiplash, their debut foray into EDM-based techno, achieving a third consecutive mega-hit.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the LP versions, which promise to offer a fresh way to experience the group’s music while celebrating their innovative and experimental spirit.
