The actors of Squid Game Season 3 have shared their reactions to a teaser clip, building anticipation for the upcoming season.

On January 2, Netflix's official account released a short video captioned, "How did the actors react to seeing the 'Cheolsu' teaser for the first time?!" The video showcased the cast of Squid Game reacting with surprise and excitement as they watched the teaser for Season 2’s post-credit scene.


Lee Jung-jae nodded in recognition, saying, “Cheolsu makes his appearance,” and hinted, “Squid Game Season 3 will feature not only new games but also intense clashes between characters.”


Im Si-wan added a cryptic comment, “Is Cheolsu really the only unique addition this season?” piquing viewers' curiosity.


Kang Ae-sim speculated, “Season 3 might be an emotional rollercoaster—get ready for a tear bomb,” while Yang Dong-geun hinted, “It feels like there’s still so much more to show.” Lee Seo-hwan, who plays the character Jung-bae, said, “I’m excited to enjoy this season as a viewer alongside everyone else.” Jo Yu-ri and Lee Jung-jae both encouraged fans to look forward to the new season and shower it with love.


Meanwhile, Squid Game Season 2 follows Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) as he seeks revenge and re-enters the deadly games, facing off against the Front Man (played by Lee Byung-hun) in a fierce showdown. Unsurprisingly, all eyes are now on Squid Game Season 3. On January 1, Netflix released the official poster for the season, captioned, “Younghee and Cheolsu: The games of innocence are far from over.” Director Hwang Dong-hyuk teased that Season 3 would kick off in the summer or fall of next year, promising, “Each episode will outdo the last.
