Following Taeyeon, Wendy Also Withdraws from SM's 30th Anniversary Concert [Official Statement]

Red Velvet member Wendy has announced her absence from SM Entertainment's 30th-anniversary concert.

On January 6, SM Entertainment informed ticket holders for SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in SEOUL that Wendy would not be participating in the concert. The company stated, "Red Velvet’s Wendy will not be appearing due to personal reasons. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this change in the lineup. Ticket cancellations and refunds can be processed without fees through the customer service center of the ticketing platform."

This announcement comes after SM Entertainment revealed in December that Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon would also be unable to attend the event. Wendy's withdrawal, announced just five days before the concert, has drawn significant attention.

SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in SEOUL will be held over two days, January 11 and 12, at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro District, Seoul.
