SM unveil their new girl group

SM Entertainment has unveiled their new girl group, marking the company’s first debut in five years since aespa.

The announcement was made during SMTOWN LIVE 2025 ‘THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE’ in SEOUL, held at the Gocheok Sky Dome on January 11–12. At the end of the event, a trailer showcasing the members of the new girl group was revealed, exciting fans worldwide.

The group, named Hearts2Hearts, consists of eight members and is set to debut this February. Their debut has already garnered significant attention as they follow in the footsteps of aespa, SM’s last girl group, who debuted in 2020.

Meanwhile, SMTOWN LIVE 2025 was held to commemorate SM Entertainment’s 30th anniversary. The event featured a variety of stages, including performances by SM artists, pre-show stages from artists under SM’s subsidiary labels, and special collaboration stages by the SMTOWN family, offering fans a memorable experience.
