SM to Release 30th Anniversary Album: A Fresh Take on Iconic Hits

SM Entertainment (SM) will commemorate its 30th anniversary with the release of the 2025 SMTOWN: THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE album on February 14, the day of its founding.

The album, which will be available on various music platforms starting at 6 PM KST, marks SM's first group album in over two years since the release of 2022 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU PALACE in December 2022.

The commemorative album features 17 tracks, including the title song, "Thank You," a new group anthem for SM. It also includes remakes of legendary SM hit songs, reimagined by senior and junior artists to reflect their unique styles and group characteristics, offering a fresh perspective on SM's contributions to K-pop history.

• BoA reinterpreting SHINee Jonghyun’s "End Of A Day"
• TVXQ offering a new take on Red Velvet’s "Psycho"

• EXO covering H.O.T.'s "Git It Up!"
• Red Velvet bringing a new flair to Girls’ Generation’s "Run Devil Run"
• NCT 127 remaking Hyun Jin-young's "You In Vague Memory"
• NCT DREAM covering EXO’s "Love Me Right"
• WayV reinterpreting SHINee’s "Juliette"
• aespa reimagining f(x)’s "Rum Pum Pum Pum"
• RIIZE covering TVXQ's "Hug"
• NCT WISH remaking Super Junior’s "Miracle"
• NAVIS taking on BoA’s "Game."

This album not only celebrates SM’s 30-year legacy but also offers fans a chance to experience the company’s musical heritage in a fresh and innovative way.
