BTS Jungkook Becomes First K-Pop Soloist to Surpass 8 Billion Streams on Spotify
BTS member Jungkook has achieved a groundbreaking milestone, becoming the first K-pop solo artist to surpass 8 billion cumulative streams on Spotify.
According to reports, Jungkook’s Spotify profile, including all credited tracks, has surpassed 8 billion unfiltered streams. This achievement makes him the first and fastest K-pop solo artist to reach this milestone, achieving it in just 1,058 days. Even during his military service, Jungkook’s account maintained an impressive daily stream count of over 7 million, reflecting his immense global popularity.
In 2024 alone, Jungkook set another record as the first K-pop soloist to achieve 3.745 billion streams in a single year. He has held the position of the most-streamed K-pop solo artist on Spotify for three consecutive years (2022–2024).
Among his tracks, the solo single Seven holds the top spot with over 2.154 billion streams. This is followed by the title track of his solo album GOLDEN, Standing Next to You, with over 1.088 billion streams, and the collaborative track Left and Right with over 1.046 billion streams. Other significant contributors include 3D with 773 million streams, the 2022 FIFA World Cup anthem Dreamers with 453 million streams, and the webtoon OST Stay Alive with 327 million streams.
Jungkook’s consistent achievements underscore his global influence and musical dominance as a solo artist, further solidifying his status as a trailblazer in the K-pop industry.
