Yoo Ah In and Shin Se Kyung visit Manhattan, New York

Yoo Ah In and Shin Se Kyung, leading actors of SBS’s new drama series Fashion King, are recently seen shooting in Manhattan, New York in America.

On February 15 (local time), Yoo and Shin had first shooting in East Village nearby St. Marks in Manhattan, New York.

In the series, Ga Young (played by Shin Se Kyung)’s apartment is located in East Village as she begins a new life in New York. SBS says, “The first shooting was about Yoo and Shin having a conversation on the street across the apartment in New York. The first shooting went quite well without a single mishap.”

Yoo Ah In plays Kang Young Gul who is raised by an abusive aunt who peddles in Dongdaemun Market. When Kang gets discharged from the Army, he begins his own business at Dongdaemun Market, eager to earn money.

On the other hand, Shin Se Kyung plays Ga Young who loses her parents at a young age, but has a shrewd personality with high self-esteem. She also has a God-given talent in design.

Production crew of Fashion King says, “These two actors have good looks as well as strong characteristics, so they are easy to catch in the camera. Yoo’s charm is his strong gaze which makes him look alive. Shin, on the other hand, seems to have improved a lot in acting since she exactly know what the director wants and acts them out.”

Fashion King is about certain people beginning their business at Dongdaemun market and becoming worldly-renowned designers. Scriptwriters Lee Sun Mi and Kim Gi Ho and director Lee Myung Woo produce the series. It premiers in March.
