Shinhwa’s Jun Jin and Min Woo are becoming special one-day hosts of Mnet’s M Countdown.
On April 5, a picture was uploaded on the official Twitter account of M Countdown with the comment, “This is Shinhwa embracing H.O.T! Enjoy the hightlight on live M Countdown tonight at 6:00 p.m.!”
In the picture, there are Jun Jin, Tony, and Min Woo with a phrase that read: “Shinhwa Embracing H.O.T” This parodies MBC TV’s drama series The Moon Embracing the Sun, which made a great hit. As the phrase says, Shinhwa’s Jun Jin and Min Woo are embracing Tony, who used to be a member of H.O.T.
People responded: “They’re so cute,” “They look younger than their actual ages,” “Is this a parody of The Moon Embracing the Sun? It’s so funny!”
The episode of M Countdown that will air on April 5 at 6:00 p.m. will be hosted by Jun Jin, Min Woo, and Tony. In the episode, Shinhwa are performing “Brand New,” the title track of their seventh album.
