Football star Park Ji Sung hits up IU’s concert

English Premier Leaguer Park Ji Sung proved that he was a huge fan of IU.

On June 3, Park attended IU’s solo concert titled “Real Fantasy,” which was held at the Peace Hall of Kyung Hee University.

In the middle of her concert, IU said, “I see quite a few acquaintances of mine. I’d like to thank them for coming, especially one of them.” With this remark, Park appeared on a huge screen on the stage, and the audience applauded.

Flustered by the unexpected attention, Park soon served up a big smile and responded to his fans’ applause. IU said, “I got to know him while shooting SBS’s Running Man, and asked him to come to my concert. Thanks for coming, Park.”

As the footballer started getting surrounded by the swarming guards and getting more attention than IU herself, the song bird expressed her jealousy to her fans. “I thought you guys were here to see my concert. You’re supposed to keep your eyes on me!”

On the day, the singer had the first concert of her national solo tour with the kick-off in Seoul. She will take her concert to Ulsan on June 9 and 10, followed by more concerts in Jeonjoo, Soowon, Busan, and others.
