2AM’s Jo Kwon candidly confesses, “I tortured myself during the trainee years…”

2AM’s Jo Kwon revealed that he had tortured himself during his trainee years.

On the episode of SBS’s Go Show that aired on June 15, Jo Kwon revealed, “I had this one time when it was the hardiest time during my long trainee years.”

He thought back to the time and stated, “It was during my fourth year as a trainee. So many male trainees came in at that time, the current members of 2PM.”

He continued, “As the agency expanded, more trainees came in. However, Park Jin Young neglected me.”

Jo Kwon surprised the listeners by saying, “I stressed out so much that I started to ram my head against the piano and tortured myself. Other fellow trainees tried to stop me.”

He also said, “I finally debuted with Park Jin Young’s text message. He texted, ‘Today is your 2567 day as a trainee.’ and told me to debut.”
