Super Junior and SHINee meet a young American girl

Boy groups Super Junior and SHINee recently met Donica Sterling, a 15 year old terminally ill American from New York.

Donica visited SM Entertainment on June 20 and made her dreams come true by meeting SHINee in person.

Herbert Black, the Canadian president of American steel and metal company, sponsored her visit to Korea and her dreams came true on June 16. Even though she is suffering from an incurable disease, which contracts her muscles, she raises her hopes by listening to K-pop and she strongly wished to meet SHINee and Super Junior.

SHINee’s Tae Min says, “I was so happy to hear that Donica came to Korea to see us. I was touched by her saying that our songs encourage her and I want her to help her fight her disease.”

Key says, “I’m happy to spend special time with Donica. If we have the chance to perform in New York, I want to invite her.”

Donica says, “I’m so excited to meet SHINee and I’m happy to bring good memories back.” She impressed Tae Min, who is her favorite member, by giving him a letter.

SHINee gave her dolls, albums, pictorials, and picture so that she can remember the group for a long time. Tae Min also gave her his favorite rosary bracelet. The group made her happy by singing and performing her favorite song “Ring Ding Dong.”

Donica visited the set in Namyangjoo, Gyeonggi Province, where Super Junior shot a music video for their new song on June 17.

Super Junior members gave her their albums and presents and also performed their song “Sorry Sorry.” The group also took a picture with her and gave her an unforgettable memory.
