On July 4, Jang’s agency, JYP Entertainment, said that Jang started promoting himself prior to the release of his first solo album on August 8.

The agency plastered Seoul city, including their main building, bus stops, and subway station in Hongdae with pictures of Jang.

A promotion of this size is rare for a solo singer. The picture features Jang’s unconventional change and charisma, which were unveiled through his teaser video.

A spokesperson for the agency says, “Jang will surprise everyone by giving amazing performances. He is 200 percent ready to perform his first solo album so please pay more attention to him.”
