Super Junior’s Leeteuk says, “I’m going to get a girlfriend before I join the army this year”
In the episode of SBS TV’s Kang Shim Jang that aired on July 10, Leeteuk said, “I’m really going to get a girlfriend before I join the army this year.”
As actor Yoo Yeon Suk told a heartbreaking story about how his first love broke up with him right after he joined the army, the host, Lee Dong Wook, made a joke to Leeteuk: “Leeteuk, I guess you should do something about your love life before you join the army, too.” At this, Leeteuk made the surprising announcement.
At a press interview for Super Junior’s sixth album, Sexy, Free, and Single, on July 3, Leeteuk made the announcement that he will join the army this year.
Leeteuk also surprised everyone by saying, “If my girlfriend waits for me for the two years of my service in the army, I believe she will be the girl who will wait for me forever. If I get a girlfriend before I join the army and she waits for me for two years, I’ll marry her within five years.”
In addition to Super Junior, 2AM’s Jo Kwon and 2PM’s Wooyoung who recently debuted as solo singers, the Wonder Girls’ Ye Eun, Bang Eun Hee, Jung Jun, Ye Ji Won, Clara, and Jung Jong Chul made guest appearances.
