IU and B2ST’s Gi Kwang voice over baby sea turtles in Sammy’s Adventures 2
On July 11, the movie distribution company CJ E&M released some snapshots of IU, Gi Kwang, and comedian Kim Won Hyo at a studio, participating in the dubbing of Sammy’s Adventures 2.
Sammy’s Adventures 2 is an animated movie about Sammy’s granddaughter Ella and Ray’s grandson Ricky getting into adventures in an aquarium to rescue Sammy and Ray.
IU voices over the baby sea turtle Ella and Gi Kwang voices over Ricky. Kim voices over Big D, a dictator in the aquarium.
According to reports, IU surprised everyone by perfectly portraying the cute character Ella even though it was her first dubbing. Gi Kwang was excited about the dubbing because he thought Ricky was a lot like him. Kim also finished the dubbing successfully, using his buzzwords.
IU says, “Because it’s a 3D animated movie, it will satisfy many children’s curiosity about the world in the sea.”
Gi Kwang says, “I think this animated movie can be enjoyed by all family members. I hope many people watch it.”
Sammy’s Adventures 2 will be released on August 2 all around the world.
