CNBlue’s song plays in an American news channel
Recently, CNBlue’s “One Time” played in an American news program and surprised viewers.
According to the agency FNC Entertainment on August 5, “One Time” played in the morning news of WPSD Local 6 on August 3.
American gold medalists in female gymnastics at the 2012 London Olympics appeared as the song played in the background.
For about 15 seconds, the caption “CNBlue-One Time” appeared on the screen, and the anchor explained, “You are listening to ‘One Time’ by CNBlue.”
The lyrics read, “One time I’ll show you what I can be the top of the world.”
CNBlue’s Jung Yong Hwa wrote and composed the song by himself. It was then released as the title track of the band’s first Japanese single “The Way” on June 23 in 2010. By the time it was released, it ranked 11th on the Oricon daily chart.
WPSD Local 6 broadcasts in such states as Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, and Arkansas.
