Kang Hyung Joon proposes to Lee Soo Yeon

In the episode of MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday series Missing You that aired on November 28, Kang Hyung Joon (played by Yoo Seung Ho) is anxious about losing his love interest, Lee Soo Yeon (played by Yoon Eun Hye), to Han Jung Woo.

When Hyung Joon asks her why she has come home so late, Soo Yeon hesitates for a long while and replies: “I met Han Jung Woo.”

On hearing Soo Yeon’s reply, Kang falls off a stationary bike, and Soo Yeon helps him get back on his feet. Then Hyung Joon stares at Soo Yeon and says, unexpectedly, “Will you marry me?” Soo Yeon looks speechless, so Hyung Joon adds, “Do you have someone else in mind to marry?”

Soo Yeon is at a loss, but she replies, “We’ll talk about this later.” Hyung Joon urges her to accept his proposal immediately, saying, “Let’s get engaged. I’ve been thinking of marrying you since I was 18, but I can wait till you’re ready. I don’t care how long it takes.”

Soo Yeon explains, “I met Jung Woo, not because I fancy him but because I wanted to annoy him.”
