Super Junior’s Leeteuk recently left the boot camp, receiving a citation for being an exemplary recruit.

On December 6, Leeteuk received a citation for being a great gun shooter before he left the boot camp.

On December 7, a spokesperson for Leeteuk said, “Leeteuk was acknowledged as an exemplary recruit. He also built a good relationship with other recruits. Having been placed in the Defense Media Agency, he will soon start practicing for a musical, which will raise a curtain early next year.”

Leeteuk was exempted from the military service because he damaged discs in his spine when he got into a car accident in 2007. However, he received constant treatment and cured his back pain, persisting in doing military service. According to reports, he built a good relationship with other recruits as a company commander at the boot camp.

Leeteuk entered the 306 Boot Camp on October 30. He will soon start performing in the musical The Promise with Kim Moon Yeol, Ji Hyun Woo, and Supernova’s Yoon Hak.

The Promise will be played at the Haeorum Theater of the National Theater of Korea from January 9 to 20 next year.
