Psy flies to New York to see Noh Hong Chul

Singer Psy was recently seen getting on a privately chartered helicopter. On December 7, he uploaded a picture on his Twitter account with the comment, “On my way to NYC to see the Elevator Guy—lol.” In the picture, Psy is making a funny face, and in the background you can see the black helicopter he hired for his trip. People were amused by the tweet because Psy referred to Noh Hong Chul, who appeared briefly in his music video of “Gangnam Style,” as the Elevator Guy.

Noh was in New York to meet Psy and give him a copy of MBC TV’s Infinite Challenge 2013 calendar in appreciation for making him more popular by putting him in the record-breaking music video.

According to reports, Psy often flies by helicopter because of his hectic schedule. Recently he used chartered helicopters to make connections for his trip from Las Vegas to Paris for a promotional event on November 5.

On December 8, Psy will perform at the Christmas in Washington 2012 concert, which President Obama and the first lady are expected to attend.
