Dark horse Sistar reclaim the number one spot on billboard K-Pop Chart
According to the latest Billboard Chart (July 5), the title song of Sistar’s second studio album, _”Give It To Me,” has ranked first place on the K-Pop Hot 100. The song ranked in second place on last week’s chart but reclaimed the number-one spot, beating out Lee Seung Chul’s “My Love.”
“Give It To Me” is an emotional dance song written by Idan’yopchagi and arranged by Kim Do Hoon. It represents the sorrow of being hurt by love. Tense strings and tango rhythm maximize the girls’ sexiness and passion. The song ranked first on such Korean charts such as Melon, Mnet, and Bugs right after it was released.
“My Love,” by Lee Seung Chul, ranked in second place. “All Right,” by Kim Ye Rim, “Love Love Love,” by Roy Kim, and “Bird Singing Sadly,” by Outsider, also made it into the chart’s top five.
