A song from Ailee’s new EP ranks at the top of music charts

By 7:50 a.m. on the 15th, the lead track of Ailee’s second EP, “U&I,” was already number one on the Melon, Mnet, Bugs, and other music charts. She released the new EP on the 12th, and “U&I” immediately rose to number one.

“U&I” is a funky tune that was co-written by K-Pop hitmaker Shinsadong Tiger and Kupa. The lyrics are about a girl sending a warning message to a man who has changed his mind.

Ailee’s second EP is titled A’s Doll House, and is available through online music sites. The EP contains six tracks of different genres, including funk, pop, R&B, and hybrid soul.

Because of a sprained ankle, Ailee has changed the choreography of her new songs so that she will be able to perform for the fans.
