ZE:A prepares to return with songs written by hit songwriters Sidekick

According the a July 31 announcement by their agency, Star Empire, ZE:A have decided that the lead song of their new album will be a dance song written by Sidekick. An agency official says, “While considering a lead song for their new album, we were given a song by Sidekick, which is just right for the group’s image.”

Sidekick are a pair of songwriters known for such hits as Davichi’s “Turtle,” T-Ara N4’s “Countryside Diary,” Lyn’s “Breakable Heart,” and Hur Gak and Jung Eun Ji’s “Short Hair.”

Fans are looking forward to how the melody of the new song will treat their ears. Group member Moon Joon Young has just recovered from an ankle injury and rejoined the group, which raises fans expectations for the nine members’ performances.

ZE:A’s new album, Illusion, is scheduled for release on August 9.
