Group Crayon Pop grabbed a top spot with the song “Bar Bar Bar”

The rookie group Crayon Pop grabbed the top spot on the Melon Music Chart with the song “Bar Bar Bar” 44 days after they released the song. The song reached first place on the morning of the 2nd at 6:00 a.m., and Ailee’s “U&I” followed. “Bar Bar Bar” was at second place at 3:00 a.m., followed by f(x)’s “Rum Pum Pum,” but it rose to number one at 4:00 a.m.

 

This song was released last month on June 22 and quickly climbed to 30th on the Melon Weekly Chart. The group is getting attention with the so-called Series 5 Cylinder dance. Ellin, So yul, Gummi, Choa, and Wai are the members of Crayon Pop, which debuted in July last year.

 

“Bar Bar Bar” is just minutes long, making it one of the five shortest songs to rank first on Melon Music Charts since 2005. The shortest song is Akkdong’s “Kongdduk Bingsoo,” which ranked first on the Melon Music Chart on May 23 last year. It’s only 2 minutes 57 seconds long.

The Wonder Girsl’ “So Hot was 3 minutes 3 seconds long; Four Minute’s “What’s Your Name” was 3 minutes 7 seconds long; Psy’s “Gentleman” was 3 minutes 14 seconds long; and SNSD’s “Gee” was 3 minutes 22 seconds long.
