According to an October 22 announcement by Block B’s agency, Seven Seasons, they became aware of a lawsuit filed by Be Japan only when it was reported in the media and previously hadn’t known anything about the demand to return a contract deposit. The agency said they would hire a lawyer to prove that this incident has nothing to do with Seven Seasons or Block B and would take strong action against the litigants.

The media report was based on an announcement by Seoul Central District Court that a Japanese entertainment agency named Be Japan had filed a lawsuit against Block B’s current agency, Seven Seasons, and their previous agency, Very Good Entertainment, for not carrying out a monetary obligation related to the group’s concerts in Japan.

Seven Seasons originally announced, “Seven Seasons and Block B have nothing to do with Be Japan or Very Good Entertainment, so we do not accept any claim made by Be Japan.“ However, after learning of the lawsuit filed by Be Japan, Seven Seasons announced they would clarify the truth of the situation.
