Park Joong-hoon gets The New York Film Festival Celebrity Award

Actor Park Joong-hoon was awarded ‘The Celebrity Award’ in New York Asian Film Festival.

Park Joong-hoon participated in the 13th New York Asian Film Festival and was selected as one of the representative of Asia’s dominating movie person. For this, he was awarded with the trophy.

The Celebrity Award, which is the award that Park Joong-hoon achieved, was given for the first time starting from this year. It is a honorable award that is given to people who devoted strong to movie culture in each country.

The New York Asian Film Festival commented “Park Joong-hoon is an actor and a director who dominated Korea’s movie industry since 1980s. He’s representative movie as an actor would be 1999 movie ‘Nowhere to Hide.’ He also directed the movie ‘Top Star’ to leave great impression as a director too.”

Meanwhile New York Asian Film Festival is a festival that was celebrated for 13th time this year and it is one of the most famous film festival of New York. It is opened from June 27th to July 14th.
