For the first time among all Korean actors, ‘Seol Kyung-goo’ gets Asian Star Award in NYAFF

Actor Seol Kyung-goo was awarded the Asian Star Award in the 13th New York Asian Film Festival for the first time among Korean actors.

In July 8th, company C-Jes Entertainment revealed “In North America’s biggest Asian movie festival NYAFF, Seol Kyung-goo got Asian Star Award for the first time among all Korean actors.”

C-Jes Entertainment added “Asian Star Award is an award that is given to an actor who shows constant enthusiasm toward movies and along with that, the actor must have fantastic emotional expressions.”

After presenting talented acting performances in recent works ‘Cold Eyes’ and ‘Hope,’ Seol Kyung-goo gained numerous awards. Now, he again was awarded in NYAFF which indicated his popularity.

Additionally, American movie magazines such as ‘Screen International’ and ‘Film Business Asia’ etc reported about Seol Kyung-goo’s award winning too.

Meanwhile NYAFF started in 2002 and presents movies from Asian countries such as Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan etc.
