After a long period time, people are greeting male actors’ comeback as their acting transformation is being boasted in their dramas. They tried to change their characters recently and as a result, became publicly a hot issue who are doing their job perfectly.
◆ ‘Lee Seung-gi’ changes from having friendly image to a rough man! ‘Lee Seung-gi’ took the role of ‘Eun Dae-goo’ who is Gangnam Police station’s rookie investigator in SBS Wed Thurs drama [You're All Surrounded].’Eun Dae-goo’ in fact is a character who has lots of stories. He originally wasn’t rough nor haughty but after experiencing many incidents in the past, he couldn’t believe other people and became a person who was awkward with expressing their emotions.
Until now, ‘Lee Seung-gi’ took all friendly, kind characters in dramas like KBS 2TV [Famous Princesses], SBS [Shining Inheritance], [My Girlfriend is Gumiho], MBC [The King 2 Hearts], [Gu Family Book] etc. Of course, he acted as rough prince ‘Lee Jae-ha’ in drama [The King 2 Hearts] but after falling in love with ‘Kim Hang-ah’(Ha Ji-won), he became a romantic man.
But in this drama [You're All Surrounded], ‘Lee Seung-gi’ can’t hide his roughness to loving character ‘Uh Soo-seon’(Ko Ah-ra).’ ‘Lee Sueng-gi’, who always had polite image commonly, gained attention for his great transformation. Actor ‘Jang-hyuk’ gave huge laughs to audiences who saw MBC variety program ‘A Real Man.’ Jang-hyuk was well trained soldier who did all kinds of things perfectly in [A Real Man.] But now, he is presenting daring comic acting skills in MBC Wed Thurs drama [Fated to Love You].
‘Jang-hyuk’ took the role of wealthy, popular man ‘Lee Geon.’ His first meeting with female character ‘Kim Mi-young’(Jang Na-ra) was ridiculous. ‘Jang-hyuk’ well adepted to the cunning, rough, bluffing character of ‘Lee Geun’ with comic sense.
