Girl group ‘Kara’ will present their first mini album in mid August after the member change from 5 to 4. Famous Korean composer ‘Double Kick’ will support them.

Kara’s agency ‘DSP Media’ revealed “Kara is going to release new album in mid August this year. The album is expected to be a mini album.”

DSP Media also added “This album is the first album to release after ‘Kara’ changed to 4 members. The title song is made by popular producing team ‘Double Kick’ and the song itself is exciting and powerful dance number.”

Previously, ‘Kara’ already announced news of a come back in August but they didn’t specify about the features of new album nor the exact comeback date.

Meanwhile ‘Kara’, who’s original member were ‘Park Gyu-ri’, ‘Han Seung-yeon’, ‘Goo Ha-ra’, ‘Jeong Nicole’ and ‘Kang Ji-young’, started to break apart starting from last year. Eventually, ‘Jeong Nicole’ and ‘Kang Ji-young’ left the group early this year and as a result, Kara’s company created a survival auditioning program called ‘Kara Project- Kara the beginning.’ Through the program, they chose DSP Media’s trainee ‘Huh Yeong-ji’ as the new member and from this album, these 4 members start activity as the new Kara.
