‘Lee-Teuk’ From “Super Junior” Discreetly Discharged From Military Service

  “Lee Teuk”(Real name : “Park Jung Soo”), 31, a member of the popular idol group “Super Junior”, was discharged from his military service for the Korean Army.

After finishing 21 months of military service, “Lee Teuk” was discharged from the Korean Army 12th Division Unit Eulji, located in Inje, Gangwondo at around 8 a.m., and will return to the fans.

However, considering the social sentiment surrounding the military, “Lee Teuk” will leave the unit without a special ceremony or a farewell. Lee’s management company, “SM Entertainment”, said that “”Lee Teuk” will be discharged without an interview with the press in front of the unit, or a special ceremony for the fans. This is a decision we made by taking Lee’s desire to be discharged discreetly into account.”
