YG Entertainment South Korean actor Kang Dong Won resumes negotiations in Cannes over his starring in a French film.
According to the film industry on September 9, Gang Dong Won will meet French filmmakers who had discussed the issue last year during this year's Cannes Film Festival. Kang Dong won visited the Cannes Film Festival last year and negotiated about acting in French films.
Later, French filmmakers came to Korea to continue negotiation with Kang Dong Won with several options including shooting conditions. However, as finding investors got complexed, Kang first advanced to Hollywood. As he already choose to star in 'Tsunami LA' with American production, the appearance of French films has been postponed.
Kang has been shooting 'Tsunami LA' in the UK since April. Kang Dong won visited the opening ceremony of the 71st Cannes International Film Festival, to promote 'Tsunami LA'.
