According to multiple sources, Choi stars as a father of Yoo in the movie 'Buring'. His acting was possible as the director Lee Chang Dong and Choi are alumni of Kyeongbuk University.
The storyline of 'Burning' revolves around a part time deliveryman Jong-su (Yoo An in), who meets Hae mi (Jeon Jong seo) and Ben whom Hae mi introduces to Yoo.
