Bong Joon-ho's Parasite Goes to Canne

South Korean director Bong Joon-ho's new film, Parasite, is preparing to meet audiences at this year's Cannes Film Festival in next month.

The movie 'Parasite' (2019), is invited to compete at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival along with 19 other movies. 

On April 22, the press conference for production of the film is held at Westin Chosun Hotel in Seoul. Besides Bong, other actors - Song Kang-ho, Lee Seon-gyun, Cho Yeo-jung, Choi Woo-sik, Park So-dam and Jang Hye-jin attended. 

"Parasite" describes an encounter between two families from completely different backgrounds - one rich and the other poor. The son of the poor family becomes a tutor for the rich family.
