BTS' Jin's 'The Astronaut' broke another record on Spotify, the world's largest music platform, and shone its mighty global power.
Jin's first solo single 'The Astronaut' surpassed 70 million streams on Spotify as of December 3rd.
Released on October 28th, 'The Astronaut' debuted on Spotify with the third highest streaming among Korean solos upon release, surpassing 10 million streams in 3 days.
Also, among her Korean solo songs, it surpassed 50 million streams in 22 days, the shortest time, 60 million in 29 days, and 70 million in 37 days, breaking her own new record in the shortest time. As of December 5, it has surpassed 74 million streams at a fast pace.
In particular, Jin was the first to be named on the Spotify 'Global Top Artist' chart and the 'Japan Top Artist' chart as of October 28 with 'The Astronaut', making her the highest debuting artist among Korean solo artists of all time.
