BTS' V proved his strong sound source power as a solo artist by recording the highest ranking among male idol solos on the 2022 year-end settlement chart of the Circle Chart.
On the 2022 annual chart of the Global K-pop Chart, the Circle Chart (formerly Gaon Chart), a music chart certified by the Korea Music Contents Association, V's OST 'Christmas Tree' ranked 34th, the highest ranking for a male idol solo. Even as a male solo singer, it is a high ranking that corresponds to the second place after Psy's 'That That'.
Overall, 1st place was IVE's 'LOVE DIVE', which caused a rookie girl group sensation last year, BLACK PINK's 'Pink Venom' was 2nd, and BTS' 'Dynamite' and 'Butter' were 3rd and 4th.
'Christmas Tree' also ranked highest among male idol solos in the 2022 annual ranking of 'Digital Chart'.
On the chart combining domestic streaming, download, and BGM sales, 'Christmas Tree' is the only male idol solo song to chart in the top 100, recording the highest ranking.
The OST 'Christmas Tree' of the drama 'That Year, We' earned excellent results on domestic and international music charts, firmly imprinting the name of V, the 'King of OSTs that can be trusted and listened to', by the public.
